Bushcraft 1

This foundational course introduces students to essential bushcraft skills for thriving in natural environments. Ideal for beginners and outdoor enthusiasts, it covers core techniques and knowledge needed for survival and comfort in the wilderness.
Topics Include:

 

  • Shelter Building: Techniques for constructing various types of shelters using natural materials.

  • Fire Craft: Methods for starting and maintaining fires with different tools and materials.

  • Tool Use and Maintenance: Safe and effective use of knives, saws, and other bushcraft tools.

  • Foraging and Food Preparation: Identifying edible plants, berries, and safe methods for food preparation in the wild.

  • Water Sourcing and Purification: Finding and purifying water to ensure safe hydration.

 

Through hands-on practice and demonstrations, students will develop practical skills to enhance their confidence and capability in outdoor settings.

Class Requirements:

  • Tent or Sleeping Shelter with sleeping system

  • Three Day Pack with Survival Tools

  • Personal Med Kit

  • Fire starting kit

  • Water Collection Kit

  • ( Bring Steel Water Container)

  • Food (According to the Food Menu)

  • Snacks
