Survival 2
This intermediate-level survival course builds on basic skills, offering a more in-depth and challenging experience. Students will spend two nights in the wilderness, either in forest or desert environments, applying advanced techniques to manage survival situations. Key components include:

Advanced Fire Craft: Utilizing advanced fire-starting techniques and maintaining a fire under varying weather conditions.

Water Sourcing and Purification: Techniques for locating, collecting, and purifying water in diverse environments.

Complex Shelter Construction: Building robust and effective shelters tailored to specific environmental conditions and challenges.

Food Acquisition and Preparation: Advanced methods for foraging, trapping, and cooking, including meal preparation over a fire.

Survival Pack Utilization: Efficiently using a survival pack to enhance comfort and safety, including gear management and improvisation.
Students will engage in immersive, practical exercises, including navigation, problem-solving, and adapting strategies to real-world scenarios. This course is designed for those with basic survival knowledge seeking to deepen their skills and gain confidence in extended survival situations.
